Mitte 2002 schlossen sie sich zusammen und seither spielen die Fuenf unverfaelschten Thrash. Der exotische Bandname stammt aus der keltischen Mythologie und steht symbolisch fuer das begabte Kind. Sehr wohl duerfen sie sich auch solchen Metaphern bedienen, denn der Schuh passt! Ihr Sound hat den noetigen Biss und macht einem genuegend Feuer unter dem Allerwerthrashtenhintern J. Am besten man ueberzeugt sich mittels ihrem Debuetalbum gleicht selbst. Mit ihrem Einstiegstrack „Mad Mission“ schlagen sie naemlich schon berauschend in die Vollen. Saenger Badertscher laesst nicht lange auf sich warten und erweckt mit seiner fuehrenden Stimme die Vocals zum Leben. Die griffigen Gitarrenklaenge, Rhythmus und Gesang passen auch in „Are you blind“ anstaendig zueinander. Mit „Eye for an eye“ haben sie jedoch den altbekannten Nagel auf den Kopf getroffen. Neben dem vielversprechendem Intro zu Beginn ist auch der Refrain sehr eingaengig. Falls man „Chaos of life“ mit einem Tachometer vergleichen wuerde, duerfte sich dieser zwischendurch wohl im roten Bereich befinden. Dabei ist aber auch noch zu erwaehnen, dass auch hier der Refrain in Marmor gemeisselt ist – also wieder sehr eingaengig. Fazit: Die vier Songs gestaltet sich abwechslungsreich und spannend. Und auch wenn sich Slayer vielleicht hie und da kein Grinsen verbieten koennten, ist das nicht weiter erwaehnenswert. Sie haben naemlich mit ihrem eigenen Stil schon ziemlich gut Fuss gefasst. Nur eines hat einen bitteren Nebengeschmack; nur vier Songs? Wir wollen mehr von diesem keltischen Stueck Thrash-Metal. Dieser Nebengeschmack wird aber wohl bald schwinden. Denn wenn sich Mabon basierend auf ihrem eigenen Stil noch weiterverwirklichen und entwickeln, dann liebe Jungs und Maedels wird sich die eidgenoessische Attraktion wohl beschleunigen und es steht uns eine eidgenoessisch-rosige-Thrashzukunft bevor. 7.5 Punkte (Katja) - bestellen / talk about
In the middle of 2002 this band came together and since then, the five have been known for playing real thrash music. The exotic band name has its origin in the Celtic mythology and stands symbolic for “the gifted child”. And trust me, they are allowed to use such metaphors. Because the shoe fits! Their sound has got the needed toughness and is able to prevent the listeners with some fire under their thrash-ass. The best thing you can do is just convince yourself by listening to their great debut album. With the first track “Mad Mission” the band can already show its potential. Singer Badertscher is able to give his full power right away and wakes up the vocals with his powerful leading voice. The catchy guitar sounds, rhythm and vocals are also put together quite well in “are you blind”. With “eye for an eye” they have hit the old known nail with a hammer on its head. Besides the promising intro at the beginning, is the refrain also quite opening. If you’d compare “chaos of life” with a speedometer, it’d probably find itself in the red area from time to time. Again in this song too, the refrain is quite opening and thoroughly made. Conclusion: these four songs present a wide variety of interesting sounds. And even if Slayer probably can’t stand to grin here and there, that’s not further to talk about. Mabon has already settled down with its own style pretty well. Just one thing caused me to think something bad – only four songs!? We want more from this piece of Celtic thrash metal! But my worries will probably soon be disappearing. Because if Mabon continues with developing themselves based on their own style, then, boys and girls, the national popularity will grow and we’ve got a rosy-national-thrashy future ahead of us. 7.5 points (Katja) -  order / talk about
