Wieder einmal hat eine Sleaze-Band ihr Debütwerk auf die Welt losgelassen. Dieses Mal sind es die Schweden Leaded Fuel welche beim neuen Italienischen Indi-Label Costa Ovest Records unter Vertrag sind und uns mit „Inhale And Get Pale“ ihren Erstling vorlegen. Vom Sound her haben sie etwas von Michael Monroe und den alten Faster Pussycat; also das heisst schon was, denn die zwei sind irgendwie Kult unter den Sleaze-Rockern. Schon beim Opener „Leaded Fuel“ geht die Post schon richtig ab und so geht es auch bei „Dirty Bitch Boogie“ weiter, bei dem übrigens Crashdiet-Bassist Peter London als Background-Sänger mitwirkt. Aber auch bei „Southern Belle“ geht es im gleichen Stil weiter und beim nächsten Song „Max Rear Traction“, der erneut einen geilen Refrain besitzt, kommt mit Swan von Black Rain erneut ein Gastmusiker zum Zuge. Bei „231 Miles“ wird es dann etwas ruhiger, aber die Ballade hört sich echt genial an. Irgendwie hört sich der Song richtig schmutzig an, so wie man ihn vom Sleaze-Rock eigentlich erwartet. Die nächsten Stücke „Hostage Situation“, „Yeah! You Bother Me“, „Side Effects“, sowie „Rip It Up“ rocken dann wieder richtig drauflos. Abgeschlossen wird der Silberling dann von „The Way We Are“, welcher akustisch aufgenommen wurde und für mich leider der mit Abstand schlechteste Song des durchaus gelungenen Debüts ist und teilweise die Töne dabei nicht getroffen worden sind. Aber trotzdem reichts noch für gute 8 Punkte und wenn die Band so weiter macht wird man sicher noch einiges von ihnen hören. (Patrick) - Forum

Tell us about the band line-up and how the band was founded?

The guys in our gang are:Andy Jones, bass n backin voxx, Iron Kongo on the drums, John Priest, guitar n back voxx, Liz Lascivious, lead voxx, n myselfish, Dallas Chrome lead guitar n back voxx. The other guys founded it in the beginning of 2007 or sumthin like that n then i joined bout 6 months later, n we've gotten pretty far for a band thats existed for a year haven't we?

Is there any message behind your song?

No.haha Yes off corpse we have a message, the message is to get out n have a good time while listening to Leaded Fuel. But other stuff are for example that we are tired of stuff, like in "rip it up", some of the lyrics are about how much it suxx to be in a cold country like sweden, but also how journalists in sweden are usually very narrowminded n only like indiepop.like belle and sebastian.

Tell us about the band low- and highlights..

highlights: def. the italian tour n the recording of our album that we did in a week.
lows: ehm...runnin out of alcohol after a show maybe? or has that ever happened?
but i know that andy, kongo n priest had a worse experience...when we were in italy they were in a car crash with our van while drivin in 150km/h so that was kinda krayzie... they all made it so were thankful 4 that hehe..

What do you expect from the band future?

to play everywhere n get more fans everyday!

Any funny or painful band story?

When we were in Italy on this short tour me n priest got pumped up from
the awesome cheap wine we were drinkin that day so when we were in Rome we ran out of the van in only our undies n leather jackets outside the colusseum, but only for a short while. the sad thing about funny stuff is that usually u forget the funniest stuff....

What about concerts Any plans to play in switzerland?

Rite now were planning a tour in germany n the netherlands from the 30th of april til the middle of may. But YES were gonna come to switzerland later this year since were planning an even bigger tour starting in september/october...but if wanna see us soon,go to germany!

U cant live without it cuz it has 10 great songs by your new favorite band n as the title says: inhale n get pale...thats whats gonna happen when u hear the record.
